A point in time

There comes a point in time, that although you realized a truth long ago, that you have to come to terms with the accepting part of it.

Mirror Image?

Sometimes when I look into the mirror I wonder where did I go and why is my mother looking back at me?

I had to laugh

There are times that you have to laugh at yourself and your life because it can all seem so unreal.

as we get older

Do you think people become more hardened as they get older?   Or do you think it's the opposite?  Do people get more mellow, softer?  As we go through life and get older are we more accepting, more understanding or more judgmental and uncaring?

Why is it that when someone is trying to sell you something and they obviously aren't telling the truth . . . they don't acknowledge they are lying. Do they believe their own hype?

Specific prayers

When praying  . . . one must be specific in our prayers and our requests.
 Often we get just the thing we asked for . . . God has answered many a prayer with a sense of humor.

If they pretend not to see the pain and sufferings of other people, do they think it goes away and isn't real?

Doesn't make sense

Sometimes when everything around us seems crazy and doesn't make sense,
it helps if we are a little bit kinder to each other.

Comfort turns to the un side

New shoes and mattresses are always so comfortable the first hour,
what happens to them or us after that?
